And still no button for Bluetooth as source. Neither the remote which came with the amp (AVR 161) nor the app provides this button.

I bought the AVR 161s the software of the AVR is very buggy and the reaction of the iOS remote is terrible and slow as hell... if I use Spotify I can control the volume from there but on the official iOS remote... this is more than terrible for 700€!!!
This app just like the actual physical remote control does not contain all the sources that are avail be on the receiver. I have the avr 1710 model and both the remote and the app have no options to select the Bluetooth source. So when I want to listen to my music on the iPhone I have to physically walk up to the receiver find the Bluetooth source and then I can play my music. At that point I dont even need this app. Basically app designers can u add the Bluetooth source option please.
Bought a new aura. Speaker will not connect to bluetooth and be able to run spotify with wifi. Just full of glitches. I thought of having this for home music. Really bad. Dont buy this nor is this app worth it
NEVER BUY
Cant control avr with out seeing what you doing on a screen. HK dropped the ball here. Wish they would fix gonna have to buy a Yamaha seems they put a little more time into R&D
I have the Aura Studio, the app doesnt even recognize it. I only want to do one thing, which is control the volume, but I cant even do that.
This app is not working correctly with aura.
Owners of AVR home theater amplifiers can rest easy. Simple interface. Click the amp icon and get the familiar remote. Click the Source tab to switch between your game console, your networked media server, vTuner or AppleTV. Id strip the pointless "iTunes surrogate" component from this app. But thats easily ignored.
Its so complicated not connecting to speaker idk why??? Its just speaker app not spaceship!!!
Whats happenning? After updating the app doesnt recognize my HK SB26 anymore
I paid big doller for my SB26, only for it not to allow me to stream anything I want via Bluetooth. Please allow for other platforms(Spotify, Tidal, Pandora, SiriusXM, etc.) using this app to stream directly to the SB26. Its very frustrating when a lot of my music comes from those platforms and I am not able to enjoy music I want, when I want.
Awesome app! Works perfect for me. Connects and works perfect with my bds280
I bought 2 HK onyx 3 speakers and this app wont even show that Im connected to them. Im trying to pair them together because thats the whole purpose to get 2 of them and you cant because you have to use the app for it.... Thanks for nothing.
This app definitely needs a redesign. The UI seems clunky and the app is probably not compatible to certain iOS versions. SB26 doesnt show up as an option to connect to.
I get very little visual feedback on the connection with my AVR 1710, which refuses to connect with the app. The pop-up instructions only reference wireless speaker systems, even though my wired system is supported. I have very little confidence this app is working as it was designed.
Its waste of time. It cant connect to anything. Couldnt connect to H/K Onyx or the wifi. Excellent speakers but horrible app.
Only useful when using Bluetooth to play music. Unable to actually control system volume, sources, settings.
This is a great app, but it doesnt always connect. (Im using an AVR1710s)
This "remote" app has absolutely no useable remote functionality at all - in fact the only remote function is volume and that actually controls the volume of my iPhone, not my HK receiver!
